Our Focus FOR 2024

To provide our members with the opportunity of showing their reining horses in a family friendly atmosphere whether at a clinic, Ribbon Show or our main event, the Slide to the Nationals Show.

We are again running our own Hi Point awards for the year based on points earned at our February, April and June shows.

In the past few years, we have run an “Attendance Award” raffle, however, this year we have decided to “spread the love” and have up to $1500 in cash and prizes up for grabs across all categories at each of our three show for 2024. That is February, April and June.

Following the success of our 2023 Reining Australia Gold Buckle Super clinic, we will again host a Super Clinic in early May. Last year’s clinic was a sell out with 30 riders and 5 clinicians and those who attended gave so much positive feedback, we had no choice but to go again this year.

Our signature show, the "Slide to the Nationals" was again a great success in 2023 and will again be the major event for us in 2024. We always aim improve on last year and are expecting a bigger and better show with the feature events again to be the Open and Open Non-Pro. We are receiving great support from our sponsors both old and new and expect to have prize money on this year’s show which will be above any that the club has ever previously offered.
