REGULATIONS AND CONDITIONS

SNSW Reining Horse Association Show

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

Please be aware of the following show conditions prior to submitting an entry NO exceptions will be made.

 

  1. ALL competitors MUST be a full financial member of Reining Australia or SNSWRHA. If you wish to qualify for the R.A. Nationals then you must be a member of both organisations.
  2. RA APPROVED SHOW – all riders must be a current financial member in good standing with Reining Australia to compete in approved RA sanctioned classes. NRHA or RA Horse Competition Licence is required.
  3. Payment of entries binds owner, rider and/or agent to the terms and conditions set out.
  4. Entries and payment of entries are to be made on the official show entry form –Please contact us if you require assistance in lodging entries.
  5. R.A. 2024 Rules & Regulations will apply.
  6. RA ineligibility list applies – Ineligibility list available via RA Web site
  7. It is the competitor’s responsibility to ensure all necessary memberships and paperwork are current and up to date.
  8. Scratching and refunds will only be considered if communicated in writing to snswreiners@gmail.com and accompanied by a signed official veterinary certificate or doctor certificate excusing horse or rider from competition.
  9. Green Rider Level 1 & 2 rules as per RA Buckle Series, must be a Reining Australia Green Rider member.
  10. Admin fee $25 per horse.
  11. Full payment must accompany entry form, OR YOU WILL NEED TO PAY THE $30 LATE FEE.
  12. Horses that are entered for both events in concurrent run classes will only have one run and the score will count for both classes.
  13. Youth & Para riders must wear a helmet.
  14. Open and Non Pro Futurities are for 4 year old horses ridden one handed in a bridle.
  15. SNSWRHA CLASSES –– all riders must be a current financial member in good standing with SNSWRHA. Horse Competition Licence is not required.

ANY HANDED

Open to any horse/rider combination. Can be ridden 1 or 2 handed and may switch during class without penalty. No limitations.


SNSWRHA BEGINNER RIDER

Open to Non Pro’s without any RA earnings. May ride 1 or 2 handed but cannot switch during class. Limit 2 seasons.

SNSWRHA STEP IN TO REINING

Introduction class designed to “Give it a go” Modified pattern without lead




Definitions for Non Sanctioned Classes

ANY HANDED

Open to any horse/rider combination. Can be ridden 1 or 2 handed and may switch during class without penalty. No limitations.


JUNIOR HORSE

Open to horses 3 to 5 years. May be ridden in a Snaffle Bit 2 handed or one handed in a Bridle.


SENIOR HORSE

Open to horses 6 years and over. Must be ridden one handed in a Bridle.


SNSWRHA BEGINNER RIDER

Open to riders eligible for Non Pro status without any RA earnings. Can be ridden in any saddle. The rider may use one

(1) or two (2) hands at any time during the pattern. Limit 2 seasons.


SNSWRHA STEP IN TO REINING

Introduction class designed to "Give it a go" Modified pattern without lead changes. Can be ridden in any saddle. Simple lead changes are allowed and the rider may use either one (1) or two (2) hands.

Limit 1 season.
